International Exhibitions 2013

Public Room organization provided the young industrial designers from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Skopje, Macedonia, with an extraordinary opportunity to present some of their latest works named ‘fruit bowl collection’, surrounded by an elegant and energetic atmosphere of Mikser festival in Belgrade, Design Day in Zagreb and Design Week in Sofia.

 

Individuality of the authors makes this collection of decorative bowls contrast in style, as it is inspired by nature, music, geometry, thus turning these pieces of steel into an impression created by the play of light and shadows. The bowls painted in black are seen as lightweight spatial structures that grow. In contrast, the wooden bowl and tray express the slow transformation of the dessert soil, and the clouds in the sky.
