Motor Vehicles
Course objectives (competences):
Introduction to vehicles, elements from the theory of movement of vehicles and also,
introduction to the construction and structure of motor vehicles. (Construction of elements,
assemblies and systems of motor vehicles, defining the resistance and calculation of the
required power).
Course content:
Classification and division, basic principles of construction, safety aspects, phases in
development of motor vehicles, elements of the power transmission system, non-power bridges,
suspension, steering and braking. Defining and determining the forces and the resistances
which affect the vehicles, as well as defining the required power for motor vehicle motion.
